I called Wilson Combat to order an AR and found out their lead times on rifles were 6-9 months (2 years for their 1911s). I didn't feel like waiting that long so I ordered components that were in stock and built my own Wilson Combat AR. It took about a week for all the parts to arrive. Once the receiver finished it's 10 day jail sentence at my FFL, it took a couple of hours to put everything together. The receiver was machined in-house at Wilson and is absolutely beautiful.

The machine work on the billet receiver is beautiful and the rifle shoots smooth as butter. Not to mention its a real tack driver.

Kevin, my new rifle stand doesn't rise to the level of 3 time winner of T4ROTM but it still does a nice job of supporting the rifles.
