These guys arn't a bad option. Manufactured close to you as well down here in North Carolina. I've been extremely happy with mine. I've seen them on the 625-725 mark pending vendor.
Find out when your area will be having a gun show, I've always found the best deals at shows, multiple vendors, multiple options. Everyone's trying to make a sell to so its easier to swindle the prices down or get accessories thrown in.

I really like the 308 RA set. I was planning to swap my 16" barrel onto their 308 receiver set and add a 21" to the MKM.
What color RA308 did you get? Any pics with optics?

I bought the black, but a friend is cerakoting it sniper grey right now. I'm going to post it with pics when it's done.
I've been using the Vortex 1-4x PST MOA on that and my CMMG Mk3.

Most AR pistols/SBRs do that as well.
Just get some good shooting gloves--they'll keep you from getting singed.

Thank you Dawg4runner, it took some time to build it but i'm really pleased with the results.
the rear sights does not at all.. I have a pair of mbus coming in the mail.. in the mean time though, I be running it in this configuration till the new sights arrive.

Hopefully this weekend, I have a case of 5.56 coming in the mail.. What lube are you running in your AR's? my mate recommends frog lube.. but for the last few years, i been running Mobil 1 on my sig cause I ran out of lube and saw a bottle of 5w30 sitting on the shelf lol.

Sorry, didn't see this until now. I used to run froglube but now I use Fireclean on everything. Its surprising how much a light coat will last and the carbon just wipes right off.

Bought a new toy today:
FN Five-seveN handgun. Have to wait the stupid ten days ( luckily that law was just shot down here in liberàl land) before I can play / mod it.
For those blessed to not live in the land controlled by dullards ( Democrats) guess what they just made illegal? A gun so scary it makes Líberals wet their panties. The Daisy Red Ryder BB gun. I shît you not. Cannot buy one after 2016 here in California. Crime will surely drop now that this menace will be gone.
I hope the Bilderberg group picks a better party to run this nation next election.

Here is my CMMG 762x51. It was a steal at 1200 bucks.
Put a Magpul stock on it, MBUS, and Vortex 4-16x.
I don't have a permit for elk hunting this year, so this sumbich will just be putting holes in paper.

did you stop by the local wallyworld? with the hunting special, I picked up 600 rounds of 7.62x51 for $0.40 an round and is brass case not steel..
they also have cci 100 rounds pack for $7.47..

i will give that a try..
I had a chance over the weekend to the m4 out to the range and she ran flawless. not a single hiccups in the 300 rounds i fired.. the groupings weren't bad.. I use the iron's and she was spot on @ 50 yards.. I'm going to sight it in next time when I go out..
my friend's kid tried it and he loved it.. he was like ' dad, when can we finish building our's'..
overall it was a great day, the smile on his face was priceless

Yeah, the cheapest I could find here is XM80 Federal for 65 cents (12.99/box). The Nosler tip 308 large game is still pricey.
