For the price point you can't go wrong. This is a viper PST 4-16X50 FFP. I got a sweet demo price and it was literally brand new and unmolested.

A lot of people pick up USO/Nightforce/etc but vortex glass is ****ing BEAUTIFUL and their customer service is top notch.

I have two of their 1-4x battle scopes. Was looking for some more reach.
 
Last trip to my local range and my edc. Missing my spyderco paramilitary2.
I have been looking for a nice BHP but always spend the money else where.

My buddy had one of their older models. he said the reticle is super functional and that the newer models have better glass and a more true 1x. He wants to get one of their new razor 1-4x and texts me at LEAST once a day about it.

Their red dots are meh. I am sure they function but I just picked up one of the newer gen Primary Arms micro red dots and its BADASS. Threw a Larue on it and called it a day. I'll post pics of that later. But if you can swing a display model vortex (or if price isn't an option) their Viper series FFP scopes are nice. A little overkill for 556 with my setup but for 308 its super nice. their 6-20 (or 6-25 I forget) is super nice especially the Razor FFP.

I run the 2.5-10x on my 18" SPR which seems fine for 5.56. 4-16x does well with my 16" AR 308 but will bump up when i switch it to 6.5CM. I definitely recommend stepping up to the Razor series. The glass is top notch.

It's a tack driver. It shoots so well and easy, anyone can look like an expert marksman with this thing. I also like the return of the frame mounted safety, hated the slide safety.

Never liked how Magnum Research marketed these things as a "Baby Eagle" other variants called it a "UZI Eagle."

It's a CZ/Tanfoglio clone and has nothing to do with the DE.
 
Just bought the Ruger Precision Rifle in the new fan boi craze caliber 6.5 Creedmoor.

With good glass they have been hitting gongs @ 1,400 meters.

After my 10 day liberal imposed wait will mount some glass and make a run to the desert with my kids to see what we can do.

I would love to see how you like it. I've been on the fence about ordering one in 308. Initial write ups have been great!
