How do you feel about HK's paddle style mag release? If you're ok with it, I'd look into either a P30 or VP9.

Love my P2000SK. Although no mechanical safety, makes a great concealable version of my USP.

im not sure what you are describing as a paddle style, but I very much like the release on my UPS. I prefer it over the button that our other pistols use..

I believe most people refer to HK's magazine release as "paddle-like", where it is activated by pressing downwards. I agree with you that I prefer this magazine release over push button magazine releases, that is why I like my VP9 so much.
