how was the recoil? did you shoot full power rounds, or were they the fbi(reduced power) loads?

i know that the 10mm isn't a very popular cartridge, but im glad that its coming back around. i stopped to get gas on my way out of town a few weeks ago, they sold ammo there. haha. and had some 10mm in stock. sweet!

The recoil was about the same as my .45acp (Glock 21 Gen 4). Honestly I'd have to shoot them both again to tell you which had more. The ammo I used was the corbon high velocity 135gr JHP. It's not as hot as Buffalo Bore and a few others, but it was the hottest I could find on a shelf. I'm trying to attach a pic of the box with all the values, hope this works.

oh yeh, that's pretty quick. I imagine adding another 50gr could add to the recoil just a bit haha.

yes, the ammo is spendy, but damnit, it was being sold at a gas station! how awesome is that? I havent shopped for ammo in quite a while, so im not sure whats available at the normal places. but I was very surprised to see it at the gas station, and that they had 10mm.
it made me feel a little better about my upcoming purchase.

Maybe not that much of a boom, I'm guessing that that underwood ammo is a hotter load than what I was using.

im shopping for a 10mm.

initially I was looking at the new sigp220. but id rather have a double stack. also, since its not going to be a carry piece, id want a 6" as well.

but damn, that sig is a good looking piece!

it will be a bit before im ready to purchase, just doing a little window shopping right now. as I have a few things, and another pistol to purchase before I get the 10mm.

If you like the P220 but want a double stack look at the P227. Double stack 45 crammed into the same dimensions at a P226. I have a 226 and I have a serious love affair with it

Not a 1911, but this is mine. SCCY CPX2 9mm. 10+1 and half the size of a 1911. There are times i forget i even have it on me and can easily fit in my pocket if im not using my holster.
