Sig Sauer P229R (.357Sig) -- former duty firearm
Sig Sauer P225-A1 (9mm) -- newest addition (replaced P239 that I sold)
Sig Sauer SP2022 (9mm) -- was going to be my IDPA firearm
Henry AR-7 (.22LR) -- just for novelty

Current Duty Firearm: Glock 22 (gen3) -- department-issued (not pictured)

Next, I need to work on adding some long guns. Would like an AR-15/AR-10 combo, and an 870 Tactical Express. A friend has the KelTec KSG shotgun, and I've been hearing from other LE that the KelTec is surprisingly good (might need one of them, too).

Well, Sigs are all-metal handguns which helps when shooting hotter rounds. Impeccable quality and craftsmanship, but at a high price.

I am a Glock fan also (started with a Glock originally 15 years ago). But as they say...

"Sigs are like Glocks, but for men." :jump:

I've never heard of the S3F match barrel for Glocks... what's been your experience it so far? (I'm a law enforcement Glock armorer, so I'm always looking for cool stuff to upgrade on my future Glocks).

My P229R also went to the Sig Custom Shop. I had the action enhancement, short-reset trigger, barrel recrowning, and feed ramp polishing done on it -- I didn't realize how much more awesome a Sig could be until I got it back! Now I just have to save up and put myself through the Sig law enforcement armorers courses now.

I need some long guns like yours, too!

S3F is like KKM or Storm Lake or Lone Wolf barrels, quality barrels. That being said, there really is no such thing as a drop-in match grade barrel imo. Shooting at 25 yards showed no discernible differences in groupings. Results may have been different on a bench rest with match grade ammo but who really shoots a G19 off a rest? I got more bang for my buck with the $0.25 trigger job and Glock (-) minus connector to lighten and smooth out the trigger group.

Yeah the Sig Custom Shop has great service. I had the E2 grips installed, SRT, reduced trigger pull length, maintenance service, Siglite sights put in and the slide refinished. I also got the caliber x-change kit so I can also shoot 9mm.

It took a whole day 2 weeks ago just to repurpose an old kitchen island countertop into my workbench. Worked hard for the past 2 days, wiring lights and outlets, building/assembling shelves, organizing, and arranging the reloading room. Got the computer online to get load data and of course play Pandora or Netflix while I'm down there. Another day or so worth of work to finish setup and start cranking out rounds.

Take whatever space you can. Apparently storing primers & powder is an additional hazard to the fire code, so I'm not supposed to do it at my apartment. My sister was kind enough to give me use of a small room in her basement. I just have to clean her guns whenever they get dirty.

I had my reloading station in my apartment living room a few years ago. Kept it all hidden under a queen size bed sheet.

It is difficult to be a gun enthusiast in the republic of kalifornistan. But tonight I managed to put this together.

I guess it's reloading bench season. I was able to find a used progressive press locally for cheap so I took the day off a couple of weeks ago and built a proper reloading bench for it. Since I'm still condo living, i'm limited in space so added a track system to be able to mount various things to the bench - vise, single stage press, bench primer, etc.

After suffering for two season of 3-gun and USPSA loading on a single stage, I finally made the jump. This is took me an hour and a half on my new dillon vs what would have been a few weeks on my single stage.

Waiting for Magpul 10rd magazine.

Nice stick Jimster!! The Magpul AICS 10 rounders work well in both my Orias chassis and Ruger Precision. Definitely better price point than both my AW or AICS mags.

it's much better than the small little cup that it comes with. I have a small bottle on the back for my single stage primer catch.

500 SW is a heck of a carry piece. How do carry that comfortably. My Glock 21 and 1911 are heavy enough.
