The Optimus has parts and adaptors to do everything from .22 all the way to 300 win mag, including pistol calibers up to 9mm. It comes with a .22 and 9mm front plate.

And yeah, getting into 300blk is near the top of the list. I've been waiting to get my hands on a 300blk conversion for the tavor.
 
How is that legal? I was under the impression that you couldn't change the configuration after the silencer is assembled for the first time.

Just curious if there's something I'm.missing.

The law is a convoluted patchwork mess, but generally speaking you just can't change the serialized part (generally the tube) or the baffles. Only the SOT can change/repair/replace those.

Those parts aren't being changed, just other pieces and ends are being screwed on and off depending on what caliber and config.

Picked up a long ago ordered Winchester Model 70 Super Grade .30-06, it's beautiful!
Although while waiting on them to do paperwork I spent another $500 in reloading supplies, and ammo (in calibers for which I don't reload).
 
I have owned a S&W Combat Masterpiece (model 67) for a long time. Got out of shooting for a while, but just got back in and joined a range.

Just picked up a Taurus 738 TCP, and am very pleased with it. First 100 rounds no misfeads, and hit in the 9 circle with all six on my "play around and adapt to new trigger discipline" day.

Niiice! That one is on my list, almost got it 2-3 times but decided to pass. However for about $600 seems like a good deal. How do you like it? I have read they're pretty dead accurate out of the box and as (or more) reliable than Glocks.

I love my CZs. I bought the compact PCR version about the same time as a Sig 229 in June, and took both out for a week in Tennessee to break in. The CZ really is a smooth shooter, lower bore axis, less perceived recoil. The trigger wasn't as nice as the Sig. But it was still nicer than most of the guns I've shot, including anything else at that price point. It ate all the ammo I fed it without trouble, and kept going and going. I put 100 rounds though it and another hundred through the Sig first time on the line. Then I went back and grabbed another 200 rounds, all of which went through the CZ it was so much fun to shoot.

I sold the Sig when I got home and used the money to buy another CZ full size for range. I wasn't looking for the Cold War version, but it's what they had in stock at the time. The PCR has become my primary carry weapon since too, replacing an HK which I'd been carrying for a couple years. I will probably still carry the HK in the summer as it's a little easier to conceal under light clothes.

If you're looking for a new pistol I suggest the CZ. I actually regret not buying one the first chance I had, it's that nice to shoot.
 
I just picked this one up today. Can't wait to go abuse my wrists.

Finally finished my ar build. Went shooting today and this is the group.

Granted not sighted in with this pick. The lone stray was the first round ever fired out of the rifle. The group has 9 rounds in it.
