I thought the same thing- I thought I was getting sloppy and nasty but that was not it. I have been shooting the same way for some time and never had this issue before. I shoot everything the same way almost because it is the basic fundamentals of marksmanship that never really change. Like I said when I go off hand/weak hand I"m dead on man. It's strange.

I do have on in that eye that is pretty bad- that is why I wear glasses and not contacts now. Just can get enough power in contact as I have got older (even thought I'm still young).

I feel you. California is a paradise but like NY and more...the Pod people running it destroyed it...maybe it will change soon and your GOD given rights protected by the Constitution will return...happy trails until then

Wife got me an Atlas bipod for Christmas for my R700 Tactical AAC-SD .308 sitting on an XLR Carbon chassis. Thinking about getting it rebarreled with a 24" fluted barrel w/ 5R rifling.

Nothing new...still illegal to shoulder but it does give you an index point for your cheek to align your eye with the sights. Much easier/faster than the sling only method. Not too bad for a range toy. Good news is that I already have a buyer for it once my actual stamp comes in.

Good deal! Hopefully you'll get the stamp soon...my last form1 took around 5 months but that's before the new dumbazz regulations on Trusts

Agreed. my last one I got back took 4.5 months. I have three that were efiled just over 7 months ago that are still in pending. Unfortunately, this one was submitted a few months after the new regulations so no idea how long it will be.

Maybe the new regs will increase demand and drop prices on NFA goodies.
Unfortunately, the new regs back in July had dealers selling suppressors closer to MSRP so prices actually increased. Luckily, the prices have normalized as the demand has decreased. The only way you'll see prices drop further on NFA items is by deregulating them.
Best case scenario based on what is on the table now:
1. Hearing Protection Act (HPA) introduced in Oct 2015 is passed and suppressors are removed from NFA restrictions
- With the removal of suppressors, the backlog of other NFA items like SBR, SBS, MG, SBS, AOW, etc. will decrease and we'll see the turn around times go back down - prices will remain the same for these firearms
2. With suppressors only requiring a background check like any firearm, existing inventory will be depleted so finding any in stock after it passes will be almost impossible - dealers will probably raise prices on existing inventory to maximize profit
3. New manufacturers will enter the market to help supply the increased demand which will lead to innovation which will also lower costs
HPA is positioned as a public health bill so it has a better chance of passing sooner since it will still require a background check (aka satisfy democrats). As opposed to removing full-auto weapons from the NFA which is purely a 2A bill.
