My wife is a huge firearm enthusiast like me, her rule is I can get just about anything I want as long as it's in the budget to get two so she has one also- but even she looks at the total co$t of my supressed SBR projects and shakes her head...
Sometimes I feel like a coke addict-

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I’ been out of cell phone range for 8 days on a fly fishing trip. The rifle is an anschutz mpr64 with a Mwerks 25 moa rail and a Schmidt and Bender pmii 4*16*50. I’ve shot clay pigeons laying on a dirt berm at 416 yards with it. Can’t ask for more out of a 22lr.

So, I've got several SBR's, and was never interested in a pistol set-up, or the law tactical she folder doo-hickey, but my good buddy brought his DDM4 V7P with law tactical side folder and SB tac brace/stock to the range the other day, and I have to say, I actually really liked it. I think I handled and shot it more than he did...
I was always against adding another part/failure point to a system that works well. So never cared for the law tac folder. But I actually liked it after handling it, folding it and putting it in my truck, backpack, etc.
It even fit nicely albeit snuggly in my diaper bag folded up with all the stuff I normally carry in it.
It fits in many different places and is easier to unfold and get on target than a broken down SBR being put together and put on target.
The pistol brace thing is what it is. And usually I would just do the stamp/$200.00, but I think I may grab a V7P law tac and see how I like it.
I can always stamp it in the future if I decide the pistol brace is not for me, but for some reason the set-up really grew on me, and not spending $200 and registering yet another SBR would be a plus.
I was never a hater, but always thought a pistol was just not for me and the pistol brace idea struck me as kind of odd.
Anyone running pistol AR's? What are your thoughts and what do you have stock/brace wise?

I run a pistol AR lower with the law tac folder to test my short uppers as I wait for my stamps and a backpack gun from time to time. I have between 4-5k rounds of mixed 556, 300blk and 22lr on it both suppressed and non-suppressed and it runs well. Ran it with the original bcg extension for about 2k rounds then swapped over to the anarchy outdoor extension to run it with my JP SCS. One of the downside of the system is if you swap uppers, you need to remove the bcg extension from the upper and transfer it or use the same bcg. Also, when you take it apart, you have to push both pins and slide the entire upper forward if you want to service the bolt.
As for braces, I currently run a kak blade since I haven't put too much into the lower. Not as supportive as others, but def lightweight. Got to shoot a few of the sb tactical braces at Triggercon and I was impressed with the SBA3 which I'll be swapping to shortly. They also have a SBM4 brace if you want more of a traditional look.
Here it is in its current form with my 22lr 4.5" upper
I've had a BCM 12.5 with a Sig SBX brace that I like. I ended up selling the upper. My second pistol is a 10.5 LMT with another Sig brace SBM4. Brace wise I prefer the SBM4 its comfortable around my arm and looks a lot better. I would like to form 1 my pistol but can't stand having to get permission to take it across state line. Well here a picture of my set-up.

So its a mix-mash of parts but it shoots extremely flat and fast. The Elcan is kind of overkill but I use it for informal gun games with my buddies....it's kind of like cheating.

Get a ar pistol w/ sba3 pistol brace (its a collapsable/adjustable) brace.
My ar pistol is pretty much the only rifle...er..pistol I plink with these days. I'm too lazy to drag out my long rifles. So the Ar pistol goes with me pretty much everywhere.
I cant get a SBR in the shithole state that I live in.

No pics, but I have several Form 1 SBRs including a Colt 6450 9MM that I registered that has a TROS 55" 3 lug barrel,a Colt 6933 factory SBR, a 20" A2 build with a complete Colt surplus A2 upper, a '54 HRA Garand, a 10/22 Take Down Lite in a Magpul Backpacker stock, a standard 10/22 that will be getting a TacSol barrel and Magpul Hunter stock, a Remington AAC 700 in a Manners stock, a Les Baer TRS (sub 60 SN), a Colt Commander, a Colt 5" 1911 in .38Super, a Springfield Loaded stainless 5", a Glock 17, 19, 43, a Ruger 22/45 Lite, a couple of KelTec P32s,A S&W 5906, a S&W K frame in .357, a Colt 1903 Pocket Model made around 1927.
Also have a Mossberg 500 and an older Ithaca Model 37 with factory slam fire trigger group.
For cans, I have 2 AAC 5.56 Mini's, A Gentech Multimount for my 9MM AR, a Huntertown Arms .308 direct thread can for my 700, and a SiCo Sparrow II for my .22 guns.
I think that's everything..
And people think waiting 6 months for a Gobi rack is tough. The NFA game is way worse. My 6933 took almost 2 years as ordered it right before Sandy Hook, and the transferring dealer sat on the Form 3 for 4 months, and my Sparrow II took a year and 7 months thanks to Silencer Shop not submitting the Form 4 for a year.
Also have a Mossberg 500 and an older Ithaca Model 37 with factory slam fire trigger group.
