More laws definitely wouldn’t do anything meaningful to affect change for those who don’t follow the ones on the books already.

Already ahead of you. I bought a used one last week. Sent it off on Sat to get threaded since my obsidian can handle subsonic 45/70's.

Sweet, I've been looking at the big loop guide gun in 45/70.
If you ever want to tame most of the recoil check out the mercury recoil suppressors, well known in shotgun world.
I have a CVA Scout 35 Whelen breech loader 7 lb fully dressed kicked like a bloody mule.
I put a 11 oz suppressor in butt stock feels like a 308 now, best $70 I ever spent.
Will balance the gun out after having can hanging off barrel.

Oh man I know what your saying those 430's will kick yo butt.
I reload you have to shoot gun for load development.
With 35 Whelen 200-250 gr I'd start dreading after 4th shot, not good.
With suppresser I can shoot as long as I need to.

Buddy was selling parts he didn't need after he lost interest in building 80% Glocks.

Got a nice red Apex trigger and a GOOOOOLD 9mm Agency Arms barrel for my 3rd gen G26.

Not even sure if any of that shit makes a difference, but for 50 bucks I'm willing to try it out.
