Yup. Q5 match. Bought a PPQ M1 and stole the frame. Shield RMS optic with the Shield low pro plate (I think its still the Walther factory plate in this pic). Longs Shadow holsters level 2 holster and mag carrier. Love this gun.

Very nice. I carry a P99, but have a Q navy and 45. Fantastic sidearm that gets overlooked.

Nice. I primarily carry my P99 or my PPS (if im in one of those pesky gun-free zones and need deep concealment)

Bought a bunch of Magpul 30 rounders for AR, bunch of G19 and G17 mags. Yes, definitely. Read Brownell's sold something like 350,000 mags since the Benitez decision. We shall see if the CA DOJ/AG gets the stay while they file their appeal.

great thread. I carry an M&P Shield 9 and have been struggling for some time with my holster situation. originally bought the aliengear cloak 3.0 when they came out and never could get used to the clip design, too much of a PITA to take on and off..tried a Desantis and didn't like that either, about to "pull the trigger" no pun intended on the 3.5 cloak tuck..they've made a bunch of improvements, particularly with the new toolless holster clips that make them a lot easier to wear. Aliengear has great service so all I have to do is send back my old 3.0 base along with a small fee and they send me the new 3.5. Anyone here using the 3.5? How do you like it?

I like the 3.5 for some reasons, but don't use it much for others.
I like the tool-less design. That's a win for sure and I hope more folks go that route int he future.
But it's too bulky. For a sub compact like an M&P Shield 9, it is big and doesn't do anything better than a smaller more concealable and more comfortable holster like a freedom carry from CrossBread.
With a larger frame like a full size or compact M&P 9 it fits the bill, but I find it's just too big for an M&P 9 Shield for my taste.
I find I'm using my freedom carry over everything else for the Shield and G26 sized pistols. Even over the super tuck mini.

I have the 3.5 cloak tuck however for a different firearm. I like it a lot. it is not quick to put on or take off, however once on can be pretty easily and comfortably worn all day. My wife who is very self conscious about me "printing" has gone all day running around with me running errands, going hiking etc. only to later go, "have you had that with you all day?" So, it works!

Just curious if anyone knows what make/model of firearm can fit in the 4th gen cubby that's in front of the shifter and below the radio? Trying to find a use for that space and figured that would be a damn fine use of it!
Thinking of a cheaper $200-ish truck gun to toss in there (though I'm reticent to say which ones I'm considering because people like to bash one of the makes and the other isn't a glock :lol
, and just wondering if anyone knows what fits. Compact poly striker is what I was thinking...

Like... A Springfield XDS 9mm? just as an example?

I have an XDM compact that I like a lot, but even the XDS's are $4-500 aren't they?

Look into a Ruger LCP or LCP II. You can get used LCPs for under $200.

That's one of them that's in the running for sure. So we're thinking single stack will fit in that cubby pretty easily? LCP, XDS (if I can find one for a steal), and the other that shall not be named for fear of ridicule lol.
Try tracing the weapon on some poster stock then cut it out. Use a razor knife that is one long blade to cut around the cut out. Not as good as a hot wire,but good enough.
Cheapest place to get closed cell foam is Adorama,unless things have changed.
