The world we live in

Was in a Facebook group, and people were posting pics of various weapons inside their runners. People started to complain. Even the admin was asking people to stop, and to leave or find another place to post pics of weapons. Sad state of affairs.

You mentioned in a previous post about needing another safe.....fwiw, Sturdy Safe makes a very good no frills heavy steel safe, not full of drywall. Made is USA too.

Picked up the PSA Dagger and PSA Stripped AR lower. Going to make a super shorty AR pistol out of the stripped lower. Need to buy a Dagger slide, barrel, red dot and light to finish off the Dagger.

Pistols:

* Ruger Security-9 w/Hogue grip. two 10 round magazines, two 15 round magazines, two 17 round magazines.

* Heritage Rough Rider .22 revolver. I generally keep the .22 magnum cylinder in the gun as I have a ton of .22 magnum ammo.

Rifles:

* Ruger 10/22 carbine. Eight Ruger 25 round magazines.

* Savage Model 110 chambered in .308. Two magazines.

Shotguns:

* c.1927-1929 Stevens Model 5000 double barrel, 12 gauge.

* Mossberg Maverick pump, 12 gauge.

Off road, during hunting season, I generally have the Maverick, the 10/22 and the Security-9 with me. When at the county shooting range, I bring everything to play with.

Bipod arrived Monday.
Bought a Plano case yesterday.
Scope arrived today as I was leaving for work. Brought it with me so that I can monkey with it before I get home Monday and mount it

Been dry firing, trying to find a comfortable position, building muscle memory, and trigger feel.
Bought some snap caps, they won't chamber. Live ammo cycles just fine.

Dagger upper came in. Swapped the TLR-1HL off of my 1911 and put it on the G19. Took the O-light off of the G19 and put it on Dagger. The Dagger will be my camping gun, so having a rechargeable light is a big plus. Next up is a Holosun 507c Vulcan

Well it's happened. Oregon has gone comifornia. We are now comigon due to the passage of measure 114. My rifle is in UPS limbo because my FFL won't accept any new transfers. It seems that, at last check Tuesday, there are 22,800+ requests for background checks.

Sorry, haven't been here in a while. Yes! After it bounced around on a UPS truck for a few days, it was finally returned to Gunprime. They called me as soon as they got it and said they could over night it to another FFl. That guy called me when he got it late in the afternoon. I was able to get there the next day. Due to the fact that I have an Oregon CHL, my background check was instantly approved. I was able to bring my Springfield M1A Tanker home that day. My neighbor, who was in the same predicament, was able to pick up his first AR the next day also. Thank you Gunprime for going that extra mile.

At least they went the extra mile for you! Sucks what is happening in OR, I am sure CO isn't much farther behind unfortunately.

Actually got it out and sighted it in.
.73" MOA, with distraction, with a new firearm, a new platform, a new cartridge.
Since then changed to a vertical grip. Today, gave it a makeover. Tired of black firearms in the safe.

.73" MOA, with distraction, with a new firearm, a new platform, a new cartridge.
Since then changed to a vertical grip. Today, gave it a makeover. Tired of black firearms in the safe.

Looking nice! Definitely noticed myself that I'm gravitating towards camo/ "tactical" dark green rifles over the last years(like 90% of my safe is still all-black though, but added a nice Rem 870 in Dark green few months ago)
Small follow-up question: does anyone here have experience with Williams gun sight? Been reading a bit on apperture sights and those seem to be not too expensive...

I purchased a Chiappa lever in 44 w/ a 12" barrel (full stock mares leg - legal in Canada). Got this thing in 2021 Dec 26 Boxing Day... it was broken out of the box. Sent it in for warranty and IT STILL HASN'T COME BACK YET.... been a year and a half... probably the last time I'm buying an Italian gun...

Can't wait to get this thing back. This is what it looks like:

My fun gun. PSA Dagger with Holosun 507c, Herrington Arms Dagger Comp and Streamlight TLR-1HL. I will be converting the TLR1 to a FDE version soon and putting a Tactical Pontoon 4lb trigger on it.

My "holy grail". Been wantin' one since I was in my 20s. CMP, receiver'42, bolt '43, trigger group '44, new stock and barrel. Great shooter.

Windham Weaponry closed down a few weeks back and that makes me sad... Glad I have one of their AR15s!
I also have a fully handmade (wood stock) bolt-action 6.5 Creedmoor my grandfather had built for me- Pic attached.
