I like how not a single one of the trucks I saw had a roof/windshield mounted light bar. Something the mall crawlers I see driving around need to take note of...
 
I see a lot of the desert race trucks (Bitd/Score/etc) running roof lights, so I guess I'm not sure what your trying to prove.


Cool video BTW, I've ran the Mojave into Vegas during the day, never at night though, that would be a blast.

We are limited to a 30" light bar in the grille which isn't always enough light. A raptor can run 3x that many lights.

I just got done doing the same route including the lava tubes, fort, and actually two flats just like they had, with group of guys from toyota120 for the 10th Annual Mojave 3Day Trail Run. And actually we were 1 day behind these guys and these jerk off's even tagged on the Afton Bridge in black spray paint all of there initials bosting 2015 Raptor Run Challenge which we took a pic of with a couple of the Tundra's in our group all long travel baja style trucks just like those pos raptors..but Toyota strong.
I had an absolute blast doing it in my 4runner it felt like i was running the baja, we ran it from east to west and up and down and everything in between our starting and ending destination. would do it again anytime.

I need some details on this trail!!! I read about it a year ago, but it was through someone that does it as a guide and wouldn't divulge trail secrets.

I'd be all amped to do this over a few days!

That's awesome..you should the run it's a blast and it literally takes you through every type of terrain with drastic changes that completely keep you on your toes and focused. he takes the lead, so he's doing all the spotting calling out obstacles,dips , you name it over the comms and he's just a couple cars link,s ahead of you cause you cant lose him or miss a turn or run into him and at the sametime your haulin ass, watching for whats in front of you and listening for the call outs, your chick is supposed to be spotting but instead holding thee o'l sh** handle telling you to slow down while talking smack and cracking jokes to one another with having a few vehicles right on your a** doing all the same but relying you in front of them...good times.

As you should be, I get amped talk,ing about and looking through all of our photos and watchings all the videos.
I can get you some details as far as the route we went with roads and markers to look for ..I tell you its an absolute labyrinth of trails and cut throughs etc. easily lose your bearings.
 
I'll be getting to ft Irwin in 2 days.. I'll be stationed there for roughly the next 3 years... I would love to do this with you all... Let me know when and I want in..

Oh and I dont know how serious you are but we are gonna be doing another run the same expedition raptors crew just did out in Death Valley and it looks to be even better from the scenic views to terrain and drastic elevation changes tthroughout the trails/run.

If you wanna roll and your able, you should!!
November 20-23 Death Valley Run..can't wait!!!
Same crew as last time plus like 5 others trucks 10-12 so far
