offroad course at Range Rover dealer

Thai- you are correct about the Defender. That is the only Land Rover/ Range Rover I would ever own because it is incredible off-road. It is also the only one that retains resale. But one vehicle out of the entire offering of a brand, makes my General Statement correct. Plus you cant deny the reliability issues they all have. Lucas electrical is buggy at best. I grew up working on British Motorcycles and while I like them very much the electrical systems leave much to be desired.

My old Freelander did quite well against Defenders and D1s. It didn't have as much articulation for rocks but when traction was low it did much better (traction control) It also had more ground clearence without the big pumpkins hanging down low. If it had a low range it would have been a lot better. Oh yeah, if it could have stayed out of the shop for more than a week.

Very cool!!! I thought that most dealerships lock their gate after hours. Don't these dealerships have security cameras???? Uh-oh, i think that i hear police knocking on your doors! :D
 
Really don't understand what you are all comparing in this thread . 4R to a ??? Land Rover ??? or whatever they are called .

Resale varies in all parts of the country , here the 2 above mentioned that are good for resale are dirt cheap auction vehicles here .
 
Yes Gumball... I am on c4ag. I've actually annoyed you several times before about the black bombers paint job, a set of wheels you were trying to get rid of... and I'm sure something else. You seem to have quality in your blood.

Hit that course up again... I'd like to see some images myself! -Nels
 
Actually never mind...it's located in Fremont.

I rather go back to Hollister for a day trip.

I'm actuallly planning to rent a 5th Generation & head to Hollister. Planning to do it within a month.
