Offroad + MUD puddle FUN!

wash routine @ coin washers = soap, rinse, soap, hand soap, rinse, and wax. Then I took it to the touchless automated washers and did a premium wash. time: 1.5hours!

WHAT???!!! it took you 1.5 hours to clean your truck? thats mental! how much did it cost you to clean? that for sure makes me want to keep mine on the road lol. and if i take you up on your offer, just so you know, i don't want to sit there for over a hour while you clean your truck!

quite true... lots of people buy trucks and it never sees dirt/mud/puddles. It then becomes an oversized station wagon... which by the way is making a comeback.

lol, we'll see.. really though, you would have been the one driving it and making it get dirty.

it was my step-dad who wanted me to get a 4runner, my mom hates it and tells me all the time its too masculine. she thinks i should have kept her old RX or got a Highlander. i didn't get my truck for off-road capability though.. so whatever to each his/her own

You'll have that stuff coming out of everywhere for a while, even after a few good washes. Then you'll look underneath and a lot will still be there.

haha.. true true. I looked underneath the truck yesterday and well... there was dried up mud everywhere still!!!! I need a hoist and a pressure washer... and a rain suit.

I have a hoist and 13hp of pure pressure washing power at my disposal just for that reason

Sorry for thread-jacking but...

Yep, gave in and ran it thru a car wash . I also put 2 coats of wax. Meguire's cleaner wax and Dupont teflon wax. It sure looks purdy .

Of course, it'll be dirty by the next meet so you'll have to come by to see it .
