Where is a nice place to go 4x4 wheeling in Alberta. I live in Red Deer but dont mind to take a drive to Calgary or Edmonton area if there is some nice offroad trails. There is got to something west of Calgary. I never done it and next month I'm putting some M/T tires and want to give them a try :whipping2

Check out the Calgary Toyota 4WD Association! Great group, and have active members in Red Deer...

For wheeling areas:
There are some regions 'close' to you, kind of mid way between Calgary and Red Deer (Sundre, Rocky Mountain House areas). Burnt Timber (around Sundre) is an area I've done some exploring in...
Pair up with someone from Red Deer (so you're not goin it alone), and get out for some exploring!

Mcleans creek is where the good 4x4 spots are at, you take crowchild out to cochrane, turn left on highway 22x follow straight through to bragg creek and its not hard to find it from there, best spot ive found so far. Good Luck!
