OHH Exciting Windshield Wiper Question

I have the conventional Denso windshield wipers from RockAuto. Had them for about 6 months, but they're getting a bit tired.

Has anyone tried the Denso hybrid wipers? They look a lot like the ones on my wife's CRV.

I'm tempted to try....

Also depends where you live. When I lived in the desert, blades would dry out quickly. Don't forget RainX either. Makes wipers work great and you won't even need them on the highway

I believe the dense blades are almost identical to OEM. I'm thinking I need to just replace inserts, but the hybrid style blades are tempting.

I'm a fan of rains. Apply it very regularly. There's something to satisfying about watching the water bead off the glass.

Did they work for you? I tried them and they were terrible. Skipping and inconsistent pressure across the windshield.

Another vote for the PIAA Silicone wipers. Have them on both my vehicles.

No RainX needed.

Clean the windshield really well, wipe it down using the cloth in the wiper packaging, and run the wipers dry for 3-5 minutes. You might see some residue buildup on the windshield, but don't worry. Run them while spraying some water on the windshield for a minute or two and it'll be gone.

i have used bosch icons on many different cars and think they are great wipers. i think bosch released a newer one than the icon that someone gave a good review on recently. im pretty sure i have Michelin stealth now and they are working well...when i need to replace ill go with bosch probably

PIAA silicone wipers for the win!! I tried OEM for years, but they always eventually skipped and make awful noise. Got a pair of these (PIAA) wipers on Amazon a couple of years ago and have been working silently and effectively since then. Expensive, but worth it in the long run. I said it once and I'll say it again, my sanity has no price. Love them!

Ive been using Rain-x Wipers from any of the auto stores since I got a $50 gift card for christmas one year and splurged on them. Now I won't go back to regular ones ever again. Each pair has lasted me about 2 years and applies rain to the windshield with every use. I think they run about $40 a pair but they're quiet and really effective. Used them on both my old tacos and now my 4runner

Just installed 2 OEM wipers, 50 bucks. These replaced Michelin, which were really old. They work great now, but if they start deteriorating, will try the suggestion here.
