Oil filter bypass vs high RPM

I was thinking ??? ..... When im towing my camper in 4th gear (06-v6 5speed auto) im pulling aprox like 2,800 to maybe 3,000 rpm going about 65 to 68 mph do you think the oil filter is going into bypass mode at that high of an rpm if Im at the same rpm for many miles?

I was wondering if I should use a K&N oil filter when I tow?? From what I hear the K&N oil filters have the best flow rate under load.

hard to say what PSI the oil pump is pumping at that point...i believe that 12psi or so is the OEM filters by-pass window.

I say no. The valve is designed to open and bypass oil around the filter and/or element when the restriction reaches its opening pressure and can withstand differential pressures significantly greater than those experienced under normal operating conditions.
