Oil filter relocation?

I had the Perma-cool kit on my T100 3.4 and I remember removing it after a 1000 miles or so because of a small leak and a not so warm and fuzzy feeling about the hoses. I'm thinking about it again but using hydraulic lines, it seems those would/should be safe without breaking the bank compared to some of the other lines I have seen. Any thoughts?

The oil isnt under a lot of pressure like a air hose or hydraulic system on a tractor. Just go to the auto parts store and get some hose. Lowes yes the hardware store sells hose too. If you wanted to get extrema get some steal braided and AN fittings from summit.
