Oil gauge

The oil gauge in the 4runners are to show what. The pressure or the amount of oil in your engine?

The light shows LACK of pressure when ON. The dipstick shows the approximate amount of oil.

If you have an oil gauge, it's showing the amount of pressure in the system. You'll have to check the dipstick to see if the quantity is correct.

See thats what i was thinking cause i had cheaked the dip stick 3 times and it said it was good. But the oil gauge inside is between the middle and low area. Im i going to have any problems with that?
