Oil Leak sources

Don't flame me...

There is method in my madness.

With the help of the BMW M3 forums, I can pretty much tell you the source of any leak on a M3 if you tell me the location.

So I am seeking the collective knowledge from the TFR fourm.

I have a small leak that shows up as a drip off my transmission. Best I can tell it originates around the back of the engine.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
