Oil leak

So over the past few months I've been doing so maintenance with 160,000 miles on it. I replaced rear main, did valve covers and did the oil pan gasket. I still get oil coming down into bell housing and leaking out the bottom of bell housing. What the heck could the oil be coming from?

When you did the VC gaskets did you replace the camshaft plugs?

Yes I replaced the plugs. I can clearly see from underneath the back of the engine. The oil isn't coming from the valve covers. I put dye in the oil. It's coming from the bell housing and blowing back from the under draft.

I had an ongoing leak onto---but not into---the bell housing. It turned out to be a defective(or defectively installed) oil filter. Total surprise at the time.

Yes, I used a oem rear main seal. I have checked the oil filter, and it's not that. It's been leaking since I bought it last December.
