Oil Pan Gasket

How hard is it to replace this? I noticed some leakage when doing an oil change this weekend.

It is not hard. just have to drop the fron diff to get to it. might take half a day to change it out.

Haha, classic Singtoe response. I guess it's not THAT hard....but relative to most oil pan gaskets on most vehicles, it's a pain in the butt...because you have to drop the front diff.


I can change the oil pan gasket on all my other vehicles in 20 minutes. If I did my 4Runner, it would probably take about 6 hours in all honesty.
