what's involved in replacing the oil pan on my 1997 limited?

Is it a simple job? The threadings in the oil pan for the drain plug are stripped and I need a solution, otherwise Ill keep leaking oil and buying a new plug everytime i change my oil.

I would drill and tap to the next size. Use lots of grease in your tap to capture the metal shavings and use a bigger bolt and sealing washer.
