Oil pressure gauge for 2004 V8

Has anyone ever heard of or installed an oil pressure gauge on their 03 & up 4.7L V8? If so, where did you purchase it and where did you install it? I'm willing to mount it into the a-pillar if I need to. If there's one thing that drives me nuts, it's not having an oil pressure gauge. Dummy lights are worthless and too many people depend on that alone, but not me.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Spring is on the way, finally!!

Nope but you can be the first Pillars are a great place or anywhere on the dash. The only thing is I don't think anyone makes the pillar mounts yet.

I would recommend Autometer products as I've used many of their products in the past with my other vehicles (Great Stuff!)

I know this is an OLD thread, but I'm wondering if anyone has installed an oil pressure gauge in a 4th gen V8 yet. Specifically I'm interested in where the sensor would be installed on the engine. I may have overlooked something, but I searched this forum and the 120 forum and didn't come up with anything.
I'm considering installing a transmission temperature gauge in a Lotek A-pillar pod with room for two gauges. I'm thinking about an oil pressure gauge in the other hole.

Sorry, bringing this thread back from the dead.

Has anyone done this? I was looking at the sender next to the filter tonight, and it looks like there are two plugs next to the sender....can these be used?

What are my other options? Use a "T"?

Yes I have done this. First note that the V8 only has 5 lbs of oil pressure at engine idle after it has warmed up. So you need to get a gauge that is marked low enough or it looks like you have zero pressure. I installed the gauge tubing with a tee so the pressure unit for the light and engine control would still work. Installed the gauge on the A pillar.
The engine and pressure switch are "nbt" threads. Every gauge here in the US is "npt". The nbt threads will start one thread and that's it. I purchased the fittings from McMaster Carr. I have the part numbers and pictures somewhere but cannot put my hands on them now. I hope this helps get you started.
