Okay I've been searching for this on a couple of sites. Picked up a 1990 v6 SR5 has the oil pressure gauge and it's not working. Pulled the unit and it's the pigtail from the harness to the oil pressure sender. Mine had the wire going into a cap. Checked the parts stores and they sell just sender checked the dealership same thing. Except they tell me you have to order the whole harness. I don't think that's true. We all know the parts diagrams suck from the 90s but it's gotta be there somewhere. A guy posted on a forum saying he had a bad one and got a parts guy from his local dealer to order one for like 15.00.
So I cut my pigtail out of cap and took pictures of the whole unit then just the harness after cutting it out. I know I can take it apart and rebuild it, but I mean 15.00 bucks it'll take more time to take it apart and rebuild than just spending the money. I have pictures to post if anybody can help I'd really appreciate being able to order this part from the smartass kid that may or may not have been born before this truck was produced.
