Oil Pressure

1993 3VZE 237Kmi. My T4R has been good to me since the day I bought it, except now my oil pressure is finiky. When my motor is fully cooled and started, my oil pressure is near the middle of the guage, with no movement. After the engine warms, it stays in the middle for about 5 minutes, with no dependancy on driving conditions; then, it will slowly drop to about the first tick (lowest "driving" pressure), with no movement no matter what the driving conditions are. At this point, the oil pressure gauge is at one of two points. A: Its at the first tick when driving. B: its in the middle of "no pressure" and the first tick.

One other thing that may have an impact on my oil pressure: I believe my thrust bearings are shot because of escessive ticking in my block (sounds like thrust bearings). I dont know if this would have any effect on oil pressure.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

The oil pressure gauge is not the most accurate along with the temp gauge you could always hook up a after market pressure gauge and test it.
