OK which LED dome bulb are you guys using?

Went to autolumination, typed in Dome in the search and theres like a long page of these that look like they will fit? Is it the Xenon Super White Festoon Dome Light Bulbs?
Also how do you get the bulb out of the glove box with out busting the little plastic cage around it?
Is there a list of bulbs for the ’99 in this forum?

I tried to get that glove box light out to see the size and failed.(Didn't try THAT hard.)

Check again... its in the top of the box itself, a 1/2 dollar size black plastic screen. I can feel the bulb in there.
I wanted to maybe put a green one in to make it look more alien like when you open it.

Get a small mirror and check out the glovebox fixture. It's definetely easier to take out the fixture first then the bulb. I just did it the other day. There is a small tab towards the back that I hooked my fingernail in then pulled down, out popped the fixture, then I just unplugged it a pulled it outta the truck.
My problem is the bulb is sposed to be a #74 but the new ones I bought aren't long enough to fit down deep enough to make contact. :bigok:

mine has BA9's for the map lights 3175 31mm for the dome lights and the glove box is a #74. that little shield in the glove box opens up like a lid.

I used a rubber glove to pull the bulb out it was in there pretty good, but the new LED was kind of a pain to get it it to stay

Found it! But i have the same problem...the #74 replacement bulb (Sylvania) doesn't stay in.

Where do you guys get a bulb that fits?? Locally, AutoZone and Pep Boys carry only Sylvania replacements.

i got mine from autolumination. or you can try VLEDS the #74 fits i had to just spread the metal contacts out and now it stayed in there
