I meant nerdy....

On CNG it gets about .08 cents per mile, on gas about .15 cents. It gets about the same on gas or CNG. Also has virtually no wear on the engine on CNG with it being so clean.

Really at today's gas prices ($2.39 per/gal) not a huge savings, but the CNG system was free (normally about 12K), it uses gas to get up to operation temp then switches over with a computer controlled solenoid. The company I work for covered all the CNG cost and gave a fleet rate price of 30k on the truck. It's pretty bare bones, just a glorified minivan for me.

Thought some of you nerdy engineer guys (like [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION]) would think this is cool. I bought a CNG bi-fuel Tahoe this week. It's a 2wd commuter vehicle for me. Pretty neat I pay about $1.69 per gal eqivilant holds 9.2 gals of CNG in 2 small tanks in the spare tire area in addition to the normal 26 gal gas tank. It holds it at 3600 psi and I get about 150 miles on a CNG fill. Once down in pressure it switches over seamlessly without any driver interaction.

Nice, was this a used CHK fleet vehicle they were selling? Just be sure to fill up at OnCue! My good friend's uncle started OnCue.

Long story but not a fleet truck, a private lease subsidized by CHK, was returned then offered up for sale. CHK is not doing these deals anymore so they had a few to get rid of. Mines a 2013 w/ 12k miles.

Tried on-cue twice and the CNG pump has been down.

Saw a white TRD Pro with Gobi rack and ladder driving down May heading north toward Britton today at lunch. Looked pretty awesome. Anyone around here?
 
I haven't seen that one. I'm always on the lookout though. I see a mag gray trail every now and then on the nw side and saw a blue one yesterday.
 
It's been a while fellas! I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know I moved to West Michigan, so you will no longer be seeing me drive around OKC with my 4runner :(. The good news is that there are trails galore up here! I can't wait for the summer to check out all of the sights :).

I found it kind of odd, but there are barely any 4runners up here and even fewer Trail Editions... several people have already commented on how much they like my setup though. Getting my Viper 4806v remote start installed as we speak and the first thing the technician asked was how I liked my 4runner. Gave him the usual "this is the most badass car I've driven" response.

Not sure, but I've seen tons of Trails and even some TRD Pros around lately. Unfortunatly most of the Trails are soccer moms or high school chicks (maybe not unfortunate depending how you look at it :shocked:) Have seen several white TRD Pros around town. Last one was Friday night in downtown Edmond.

The best was last week though, driving to work passing Cassidy (super expensive private school) passed a guy in a TRD Pro and the look on his face when he saw my truck was priceless, almost a "WTF I'm supposed to have the best 4Runner in town damn it!" look. Almost broke his neck doing a double take. :bounce:

I work with a guy that has a new gray one with a toytec lift, looks pretty nice.

This one got on I-35 north toward Guthrie - I think I kinda freaked him out in my Tahoe cause it looks like a police Tahoe cause all the cng weight. I had to fly by him cause a lot of traffic was coming and I didn't want to end up splattered to the front of a semi.
