Old Member, New 4Runner

Well, my parents picked up their Pacific Blue 2005 4Runner Limited V8 4X4 today. This thing is loaded the max with navigation, XREAS, and ride height. In addition, they put on the chrome exhaust tip, all weather mats, hood protector, sport bumper trim, driver side assist handle, and most importantly a remote starter. Their truck really puts mine to shame!! The new engine is really impressive and sounds more powerful and the ride with the Bridgestone tires is smoother than my Dunlops. Also, those leather seats are comfortable. I couldn't take pictures today because it is dark, but I will definitely post some tomorrow. So, this means now I have two 4Runners to talk about. What a great feeling it is to walk into the garage and see two 4Runner's parked side by side. I don't know what could be better!! I think the first mod is going to be a rear hitch step.

Congratulations on yet another 4Runner! Wow, that thing is LOADED, it's making me jealous! Those Bridgestones aren't bad tires, but I definately noticed a difference when I switched to the Michelins.

That's an awesome color choice by the way, but that's just my opinion. :biggrin2:

Make sure to get some pictures in, I'd love to see it!

I didn't want to leave you all hanging so here is a quick picture I took of them side by side in the garage. I couldn't get great pics but here is a little preview! It looks beautiful! It looks almost like mine, especially with those black running boards and roof rack.

Do you think you could take some pictures of the painted bumper trim in the middle of the front and rear bumpers? I'd like to see how they look compared to the silver ones. Thanks!

Wow, that was quick. Thanks! I think it looks pretty nice now that everything is the same color. I'm still not impressed with that bulge on the spoiler though, but if it helps with keeping the rear clean, that's all that matters. :thumb:
