New member to the forum and had a few questions. I have a 2009 4runner trail edition and want to make some improvement to my rig. I've been offroading with the vehicle and am happy with what it can do now, but I want to keep up with the local trail crew on some of their trips. I've gotten some conflicting advice on where to start in terms of upgrades. My plan was to start off with some all terrain 33 in tires with a 3 in lift, followed by some sliders and front and rear bumpers. Anyone out there have any advice if this is a good plan and if it is, any recs on what to buy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First off, WELCOME to our forum! You now have access to a PLETHORA of ideas, how-to's and advice from a multitude of T4R enthusiasts. Now, your question regarding which upgrades, etc., is somewhat vague as we do know know what your budget is, if you prefer a 3 inch spacer lift or suspension lift or if your Runner is a v6 or v8. You have a 4th gen Runner, and thus, you would be better served by posting this advice request in the 4th gen forum.
