Hello all. I love the site & am looking forward to getting some information & help with my new rig. I have always wanted one of the 1st Gen 4Runners & I finally bought a red 1986. It is in need of some TLC but it runs for now which was the plan since my 1989 pickup blew the head gasket. I will drive the Runner as is until the truck is repaired & then I will begin work on the Runner & drive the truck. I am looking to do a diesel conversion on this rig as it is a project I have looked forward to for a while. The budget will be the biggest obstacle...isn't it always? Anyway, I'm glad to be here.
