I'm pretty sure something serious happened to him. He had a lot of knowledge and was always willing to help.
I tried to reach out to him and even asked one of the admins for an email, sent it out and no reply.

Did the same, suspect he may have passed. Great guy who gave good advice.
Read a while back that Harper had bought a Lexus IS, I think, or some such, and sold his amazing 4R LE, the first 5th gen to get so many of the mods now being repeated by many new members. True pioneer that man....(along with [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION])...and nice to see phillyd2 come out of his cave. Must be spring! Or he's itching for the 6th Gen.

I'll be honest, its hard to hang around constantly, I have taken several major breaks, life gets busy, other interested come up (shocking right...) and the reality that so much of what we see is the same. I was well after the true old timers but been here long enough to see lots of folks come and go. Its a great community but like all things it does consume time which there is a limited supply. For one I am truly thankful for all the old and new timers who took the time to answer questions, post write ups etc it really makes the car ownership experience better (Toyota toss these guys a bone). The wife's Audi forums were slow at first but once I found the right one its been great. Looking a few years out and expecting to get a 3rd vehicle of some kind and already struggling to find good forums. SUV/CUV's seem to have less online presence then vehicles that enthusiasts seem drawn to.
