Haha! When I need something for the car like tires, I say "Wouldn't it suck if a tire blew out and I drove off the road, hit a tree and died? Then you would have wasted all that time and money on me!"

Hang on...I'm assuming everyone here has a brain of some sort...otherwise you wouldn't be driving a 4runner.

Well, don't believe everything you see/read on internet or TV or even newspaper.

Because of this thing we have called 'ratings'...sometimes news is made instead of reported (with correct consistent facts).

For example, those pieces of tire they show on the freeway...they appear to be recaps off semitruck tires...as I said...making the news.

I'm not saying that old tires is not a problem...I just saying...you have a brain...use it...take everything with a grain of salt...and to quote a formally popular TV show...trust no one.

You still have the right to think...don't loose it.
