OME 60073... new "soft shock"

Well, I installed mine less than 2 months ago, so we're still just breaking in.

Only light to medium off-road so far. Nothing to really demonstrate the legendary qualities they're known for.

I was able to notice the absence of 'boom', 'bang' and 'crunch'. Which were typical sounds of the original stock set up.

That may have to do with new prothane bushings on the sway bars.

The degree of control is impressive.

All the madness on and off road is somehow translated to a buttery ride in the cabin.

In my opinion, extra sweet cake ride.
Zero to slight rake. No sag.

I'm getting the 880 as well but after reading some forums people are saying 880 sit lower then 881 and it'll be too much rake when paired with the 890 (rear). I'm honestly confused lol I'm getting this installed Tuesday. Isn't 881 supposed to give more lift ?

Somewhere I read the length was the same but one was softer one was stiffer.
Somewhere else I read that a diff-drop was recommended for the 881 and not the 880.
I did not get a diff-drop, and a CV boot expired 2 months after upgrade.
