OME 891's or LC's

just wondering if you guys thought it would be beneficial to get the LC rear coils over the OME 891's? I'm currently running the 891's with the 10mm trim packer and the rear is barely higher than the front and I only went with the 881's with the 5mm trim packer. I measured 37" in the front and 38" in the rear with the stock 265/65/17 wheel from the ground to the fender. My problem is that I like the rear to be higher and i've still got roughly 100lbs to add to the rear still worth of extras and I dont want it to get lower.

So would getting the SS 1.2 rear kit be worth the $700+? How much would I gain height wise?

Not sure I wanna spend the cash to buy, ship and install the SS rear kit ya know

i had 891s and like you said there not tall enough i went with 94 8wrap lc coils and a SS panhard bar and longer brake line also made a custom bracket for the e brake should set you back less than 350

height, ride comfort, and flex are the benefits of the LC over the 891. the LC has a lower spring rate so it will be softer and flex easier but won't handle as much load. they are taller too. i am at 39.5 inches ground to fender in the back with my worn 265/70's

ya dude if i had to do it over again i would get LC coils over my 891s... not to hijack ur thread but does anyone have LC coils they wanna trade for my 891s? does anyone know where i can get 9 wrap LC coils online by chance; and yes ive checked IH8MUD.com

So it would net me a gain of roughly 1.5" of lift? Even if it is only $350 in parts ive still gotta install it. Just not sure if its worth it

Where is a good place to buy the springs? should I see if I can still get my old employee discount at toyota and buy new? Having a hard time finding them. Also, which shocks do I change to?

so here is my input since i have the 891s they are a love hate relationship i love the firm ride while unloaded, but they did not give me enough lift that i wanted. so then i debated whether to sell the and get lc springs and this is what i came up with. my set up will be as fallows i will be running the 891 with rear spacers to get the amount of lift i am looking for but also when i go wheeling i will have a tool chest(150 lbs), a full size floor jack a high lift, Ice chest full size 33 inch spare, roof Rack, rear tube bumper with gas and water can holders and of course camping gear. I also decide this route because i will eventually be pulling a pop up camper or a quad trailer for times at the dunes or camping with no wheeling. i am also running the 650 front coil overs for the fact that i am a big guy 6'4 320lbs and will be adding a tube bumper for a winch. i really thought about this after i had purchased the ultimate lift from toytec and so i spent a little more then for the set up with the 891 from my calculation only 60 bucks more then if i would have pieced it together with lc coils. also i have decided to order the SS adjustable pan hard bar to help free up some articulation

I'm just starting to become unhappy with my lift now. I should have gotten the SS 1.2 to begin with but at the time I didn't have the cash. I really dont want to re do my suspension. Its just too much money. with the 881's and 5mm trim packers up front im at 37" ground to fender with 265/65/17's and in the rear with 891's and 10mm trim packers i'm at 38" so i don't have any way of making it higher without changing everything. Not sure what to do.

So here are a few questions..........
Can i use the 3/4" top plate spacers on my 881's?
If I decide to go with the LC coils, what shock can I use?
Where can I find a good deal on LC coils? any websites?
