Can I use stock length shocks with the 906 OME springs? I want to get rid of the sag in my rear end and do a little bit of lift along with spacers up front. I figure it was a good time to change shocks too, but wondered if I could use Monroe or other aftermarket replacement shocks. This is a DD for me and only goes off road in duck season and the occasional back woods fishing trip. Thanks in advance.

Stock shocks or even replacement aftermarket shocks aren't supposed to be used for a lifted vehicle. With that said, I have stock replacement bilstein HD's at with the 906 coils and it seems to be working fine. I thought with the extra 1 inch or so people have been getting with the rear '99 coils -> 906's wouldn't make a huge difference. after install and fill weight on the 906's, i had to compress the bilsteins about 2 inches to bolt 'em back on. So they were plenty long. After settling i lost about 0.5 inches. Total lift was 1 inch with the 906 after all the dust settled. No problems yet, but if you're thinking on doing the 906's you might want lifted shocks as you may get close to two inches of lift with the 906's upgraded from non - '99 coils.
A trick would be to unbolt the lower rear shock bolt, Slide it off the lower shock shaft and see how much it extends to see if would accommodate a longer coil.
