OME BP-51 Suspension System -- Anyone yet?

We've sold several kits to members on FJ Cruiser forum, but only 1 for a 4runner. You might have seen better reviews there. From our limited time with these coilovers, we have found that they are a massive improvement in ride control and ride quality over the older OME systems. The one draw back, that is very minor, is the fact that you need a tool to adjust the dampening adjusters, vs a knob found on other models.

Just as an FYI, I spoke with ARB's Washington sales staff regarding the BP-51 system last week. According to them, the specific system for the 5th gen 4Runner has not been released yet. The only similar one that has been is the FJ which has different internal valving. My guess is that Toytec is quoting you on those parts, [MENTION=102009]T4Ranger[/MENTION]

Maybe not the right place to ask this, and im mot trying to hijack this thread but im currently up in the air between the OME and Icon suspension systems. You all seem to love OME, any particular reason you would prefer this over Icon. Also what equivalent would this system have to icon stages ( ie .... OME 51 = Icon stage 4)

Closest ICON set up as far as I can tell would be a Stage 5 system, minus the lower links and the upper control arms. The OME does not come with either.

Yeah, in speaking to them it sounds like it was looking like end of March.

Also, my comment wasn't directed at you, while it seems like it was. I was just trying to make my info known, so that other people wouldn't drop some big coin on a product that's not meant for our trucks.

When the BP-51 happens, it will be epic! (and hopefully on my truck )

Deff loved my ome setup on my Tacoma. But with this new setup, deff want it on my 4runner when it comes available at the right prices that is.lol

Any Updates on OME BP-51

[MENTION=102009]T4Ranger[/MENTION] - did you receive/install the OME BP-51s? I'm also looking at either the ICON Stage 5/6 or the OME BP-51s with Total Chaos Or ICON UCA's. Not sure about the mix and match approach. Just curious to see what you went with and how the install went?
