OME coils/shocks w/Toytec spacer?

I have an 03 4Runner with an OME front/rear coils spring/shock setup. I ordered a Toytec 3/4" front coil spacer but had no luck installing it. It seemed like all of the droop disappeared once the Toytec spacer was installed- and it was nearly impossible to get the coil/strut assembly back in the strut tower (but it is a breeze w/just the OME). Is this normal? Can the two work together? If so, how.

The taller the lift the harder it will be to reinstall the shock/coil assembly. For ease of use, remove the tie rod for the steering and then either the ball joint for the upper control arm or the ball joint on the lower control arm. By removing either arms from the spindle you'll have an easier time reinstalling. Though that's more work.

Another option is to use your stock jack and press down on the upper control arm.

Thanks for your advice Lance. I had already taken the tie rod out but had not dropped the upper or lower ball joint. I loosed the two lower ball joint bolts 1/4 to 1/2" (without removing) and that made life much easier. First side in- it looks pretty good. Second side yet to be done (tired). Will post pics when done.
