Well it has come time to upgrade my rear coils for more weight capacity in the rear. I currently have stock 9 wrap LC coils which are 21 inches tall not installed and compress down to 14 inches installed with just a 2 ton floor jack spare cv shaft, ice chest and 15 lbs of tools. I currently have a 20lbs co2 tank to add aswell as all my recovery gear and camping gear. So I have a few options with the ome coils, the 850 are 19 inches tall and the 850j are almost 21 inches tall un installed both have a 220 lbs/inch spring rate the 850 are designed for 2 of lift for the LC and the 850j are 3.5 inches of lift for the LC and for 110 lbs or more so are the 850 but are to inches shorter. Both also have 9.8 wraps I do a lot of wheeling and take ally of gear has any one else gone this route.

Shawn St. Cyr has the 850s if I remember right... ton of rake and he takes a ton of gear with him but he loves it.

What are you measurements ground to fender in the back with all your gear? without your gear?

sweet dude ive been looking for months and havent found a 91 front setup.... except for one guy who wants 100 plus shipping on ih8mud which i thought was kinda steep. Ya dude im in no rush tho so whenever u get them off just let me know bc i want more height in the rear since my 891s are actually putting my .5 lower in the rear then the front. PM sent!

Ya im gonna keep the first gen and build it up on the cheap, will just get used at hidden falls etc. but i want to build a expedition style 3rd gen before this summer becasue a few buddies of mine and me are gonna try to take a trip to colorado for a week or so to wheel, mtn. bike, camp etc.

I know i want to do the 9 wrap lc coils and stock rear lc shocks on the rear end but havent figured out what i want to do in the front, found this today and it sounds enticing if i can find all the parts i need to do it: 1999 4Runner  - "The Frankenstein Front End"

Nice, I'm working toward the same thing with my 3rd gen. I finally have all the parts to do the LC/Tundra lift and will be doing the install after I get back from a camping trip this weekend. Should be done by the next SAO meet so you can check it out then.

Sweet! Youll have to take for a spin in the truck, id like to see how those tundra coilovers ride, ive heard mixed reviews on them but they sound like a great lift option as long as they arent to stiff. I will be putting an ARB with a warn winch on the next truck so those might be a good option for me cause i know they will handle the load without sagging to much.
