OME Lift Intalled: Will it settle down to 2"?

Installed the OME 881 lift kit (front end) on my 2000 4Runner SR5 this weekend. Prior to install I was right at 19" from center of hub to bottom of fender. After install, I'm showing 22 1/4" from center of hub to bottom of fender. I haven't driven it yet (finishing rear OME 890 install tonight).

The lift is advertised as a 2" lift. Do they typically settle down after some driving?

Or, maybe my stock suspension was sagging so much that this IS 2" over stock, but 3"+ over my old worn out springs?

At what lift height is it prudent/best practice to install the diff drop?

I hope I didn't screw up the install somehow. Toytec assembled the spring/shock for me, and thats about the only thing that could impact lift like this (I think).

You can post a few shots of the front suspension if you are concerned you installed it wrong. We can tell by looking at it. The 890s give between 2.5 to 3". Mine had well over 100k miles before I removed them and still sat 2.5 from stock. So don't expect them to settle down to 2
