OME lift kit

Now that the shocks are getting worn out on my 94 t4r Im planning on doing a lift. Ive been looking at the OME 2" kit and was wondering what if any feedback other members on the site have to offer. Im not looking for a lift that'll ban me from parking decks just something that will give me a level stance and provide additional ground clearance for my paragon trips :D . So I am open to hearing others opinions Thanks

Ive never had or heard of anyone having complaints about OME....

OME= :bigok: :artist:

Why only 2"? I wish they made a 4" kit for the 4th Gen :-D

ome lift kit

The reason I'm goin 2" is because I haven't found a reasonably priced lift that is greater than 2". Also my 4r has stupid torsion bars up front so rumor has it when you crank them up too much problems arise. I want to try to keep things kinda simple....;):

T-Bar cranking....

I've had a 1999 Ford Ranger 4wd with the front T-bars cranked an 1.75" over the stock setting to clear 32's and while a little more rough driving around town and on the freeway, it was a very inexpensive way to gain that little extra clearance for rubbing issues. I have a 1990 4R and am looking into this same kit offered by OME. I've also looked at the Downey kit in person and am trying to figure out which one I want to go with. If you do crank the T-bars for the extra clearance make sure you get the front end re-aligned. This step is most important.
