I'm thinking seriously about getting this kit. Being $700 I want to make sure this is the one. If anyone who has this kit can give me any feedback that'd be great! THanks

P.S Im thinking of doing the medium setup if that helps

What is the purpose of the kit? For looks or off roading and if so what type of terrain? Will you be adding much weight to your vehicle etc....

This is my daily driver so first off it's the looks, but im also looking for the performance aspect. I'm new to having a 4wd vehicle but i do plan on doing quite a bit of 4wheeling. I'll be doing a lot of stuff in the snow as well. I dont really plan on adding a winch or bumper... Yet. lol that'd be way down the line. I was thinking about the daystar 3/2 but I dont wanna outgrow it as i think i will. And my 04 is about to turn 90k so I think it might be time to replace the shocks anyways. Thanks

OME is a cheap way to replace your factory suspension if it's getting old. The downside is you will have to get new front parts (stiffer) if you ever get a bumper, winch, etc. But you would have to do this anyways if you had spacers since they cannot support the weight.

If you only do mild off-roading, want the lifted look, and would like to replace the worn stock suspension, OME would be a good choice for you.

Does your 4runner have Xreas suspension? It was my understanding the OME and Toytec ultimate require removal of these componants. Correct? I also am considering the Daystar 3/2 as I have Xreas. Anyone have advice on dumping the XREAS?

If you want to keep the Xreas, go with spacers. If you dump the Xreas, get a full suspension swap such as OME, Toytec, or Coilovers such as Icon, SAW, Fox or King. You'll never miss it once it's gone if you get a good suspension.
