OME Rear Coil, Toytec, etc?

Hi Guys, so currently I have the OME "medium" coils on the front and rear of my 4R and I am just thinking the rear is just too harsh of a ride, especially on highway, it is just a bit bouncy for my taste and causes a rake. I KNOW that is said you should have a constant load of 200lbs minimum in the rear, and while I planned to do so, my build plans will just move slower than expected (baby on the way), so I am thinking of going to a softer coil for now.

I am having trouble deciphering which coil code I need for the stock load on OME coils but still maintaining the lifted ride height, does anyone know? I would also consider different brand coils like Toytec which seems to be a popular option or others if they might offer the same lift height but a better ride. I like the way the front rides, but the back is just too stiff and "jouncy".

The old school OME products are notoriously limited in their abilities, made for the OZ outback.

Bilstein has probably the best range of rear coils for multi-use applications. There is a 1" and 1.5" both using the OEM spring rates.

The whole idea of compensating for weight via springs is only really suited to dedicated overland rigs.

What shocks are you using anyway? The vehicle should never feel bouncy.

Bilstein 1" rear spring with Eibach rear shocks would offer great road manners with decent offroad abilities though the Eibach rear shock is not something I would take on the Black Bear Pass (poor travel) or something I would push here in the desert (because I will blow it Been there, done it with Icon 2.0). But in Georgia, it would probably be prefect. The Eibach is better than Bilstein 5100 because it is a little comfier over small imperfections due to a strategically placed bleed hole or something like that. I have a pair as spares.

Back to basics, the ideal setup is soft springs with powerful, adjustable shocks but the cost of that kind of shock is 8-10X the cost of the Eibachs.

I also feel like my OME coils felt stiff and I switched to the standard Toytec RCC2.0-P and the ride is much smoother.
