ome rear hd spring quick question

if a install some rear ome hd spring do i really need to change the rear shock?

You won't have to unless your shocks aren't long enough for your increase in lift. If you have stock length shocks and you add a couple inches of lift, you will more than likely need a longer shock to keep it from "topping out" when your suspension flexes.

no im not lifting anything. i just wanted a good pair of spring to replace my old one's that are making my rear end sag...

Well, you might want to try JC Whitney, I hear they have stock height springs. OME (Old Man Emu) does not make a stock ride height leaf for our trucks.

You might consider replacing the rear control(and lateral) arm bushings while in there. I found it made a fair improvement in getting rid of the "sag" on our 1990 4runner. I used urethane instead of factory bushings. After so many years and miles, those old bushings just give so much, which drops the rear down through geometric loss(ie collapsed).
The rear springs I used were Moog 225 with factory shocks.

Yeah changing the bushing would be a good idea ! but those moog spring i read on some thread that they don't complitly bring your end back up to factory level ...

so thats why i was lookung for a anwser kind of like

Yes those ome med or heavy duty spring fit on a stock rear suspension of a 93 t4r

or maybe its just me that is asking to much ahahahah!!! :S
