Okay, I finally have the money to redo my 1989 22re DLX 4runner rear suspension. Ive been running the sagging stock leafs with 3rd gen coils stuffed between the bumpstops for a ZUK mod. It has worked great but suffers on and off road since no shocks are really valved for that setup and it has limited flex. Im ordering the OME CS009R medium duty springs for the rear, I know I need 4 ubolt kits and 2 bushing kits. I cant afford the OME shocks right now and im waiting to do the blazeland in the front anyways before I put those all around. Bilstiens are still a little pricey since Im deploying soon and its going to be sitting for a while (long enough to save for blazeland and bilstiens!). Now, Ive searched and read and searched, but I cant find anyone saying they have kept their stock shackles with these springs? And for shocks, I know they are cheap white can shocks which is all I need for now, but Im looking at the doetsh tech 3000's since they are apparently softer? Does anyone know what collapsed/extended leanths these springs will net me with the shocks in their stock locations? If anyone has experiance with this setup please let me know how you did. Pictures are a big help. I am not fabricating or re-locating anything yet. Greaseable shackles, new lower shock mounts, and the upper shock mount truss are in the future so Im not going all out yet. This is my daily driver so I cant exactly wait for the springs to see what my shock size should be. I need it all ready to go in at once.
