OME shocks and LC coils.

I have a lift on my 96T4R. The rear springs are OME 891s and OME shocks. I was thinking of swaping out the 891s for LC springs. My question is will the OME shocks be long enough to run the slighly taller LC coils.

Any info is appriciated, Thanks!

My understanding is that it will work but not as well as it would if you swapped in some LC shocks.

Be careful with LC shocks though, IIRC they (along with the LC coils) allow your axle to flex more, and I've heard about LC coils falling out on the trail because the LC shocks allowed so much flex...

Yeah you can run the OME 60028's with LC coils

They definitely can. But if you mount up some limit straps you won't have to worry about it.

I have LC coils and LC shocks and the combo is awesome. But if the OME shocks are long enough, then might as well save some money

I'm running 8 wraps with some Skyjacker 2.5" lift shocks and have no issues. That being said, if I had longer shocks, I'd most likely have more flex...but for the little wheeling I do....I'm fine with these until they crap out.
