I need alot of help on this one.... (noob 
) I was driving home today with my AC on and it was blowing cold until i was getting off the freeway and all of the sudden it went from ice cold to hot as a mother f*****, plus smoke was blowing through the vents and under the passenger side hood light grey smoke was coming out.
The temp gauge was normal, and the smoke smelled like burning plastic! had the car towed the rest of the way home and looked under the hood sure enough there were pieces of burned plastic all over the engine compartment, on the belts, frame, and mainly on the passenger side, so something obviously Blew up.... but i dont know what. cant see it. I was told it might be the AC compressor/clutch assembly. but wtf blew up? Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated!
Plus does anybody have a write-up for replacing AC compressor/ clutch?
