On line manuals

Has anyone used the manuals available at www.alldata.com? I'd like to get the factory originals but they are hard to find and pricey. I can do $25/year if it's worth it. Or if there's another source of tech info (w/diagrams) available for '01 T4R's I'd sure appreciate knowing about it. Thanks

TIS Website is probably the best spot to go. For $10 US, you get 24 hours of access to download anything you want. You simply put in your vehicle info (model and year) and it comes up with all the links you need to download the complete Factory Service Manual and Wiring Diagrams, etc...

Be aware that it takes a long time (took me 5 to 6 hours) to get everything. There are many, many individual PDF files to download and save to your computer by right clicking on them and clicking "save as". It took me longer because I was renaming them as I went... the naming convension they use sucks.

After the fact, I put together a table of contents with titles and hyperlinks to the correct files so that it is easy to use now.

I'll give it a try

I have a 3 Megabit internet connection and I can set a download utility to grab all of the pdfs. I can do the renaming later. Thanks!
