Onboard Tools

Second the ATC ShopRoll. They are usually at a lot of the Expo’s and give good discounts.
Fits perfectly on top of the rear wheel well cubby piece.

So I have a Milwaukee took bag that my impact and drill came in. I am looking to see what everyone uses to carry their tools. I have a Husky tool box I am thinking of building out but there isn't a ton of room. Drawer system is not a option What do you have and where do you have it. Pics would be nice also.

I splurged on an atlas 46 tool roll. It holds 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2” socket sets plus other assorted hand tools. A lot of them. Aside from that I keep the compressor and a volt meter and a ratcheting wrench set in the truck. When I go on long trips I toss in a pelican box with a 1/2” battery operated impact tool and other recovery bits. Basically I am carrying a full mechanics toolset all the time, but only because I want it handy for odd fixings. Nothing ever breaks in the yota.

I’m cheaper and lazier than the rest of you. Most of the time I throw a torque wrench, breaker bar, ratchets, sockets, gloves, 1/2” impact wrench and battery in a duffle bag and call it a day.

You really need to head this way or we need to head your way sometime. I have been eyeing the Atlas but 200 bucks is a pretty chunk of change.

I think I'm going to pickup the 1/2 earthquake stubby air impact with a small set of thin walled deep sockets.

Does anyone know if I can get like an external star impact set and use one on. my splined gorilla lugs?

It would be nice not to have to deal with like a socket on top of a 'key' - especially with a torque stick
